From Maxx Roof Tampa

Roofers are everywhere it seems. You see them all over TV, online and in social media. You find them on flyers in your mail and in their trucks on the road. So how do you really know who to trust and who to hire? Are you enough of an expert on roofing to really make an informed decision? Well, by the end of reading this, we believe you will be.
What we bring to the table is extraordinary value – which comes from our quality materials and craftsmanship, highly skilled roofing installers and diligent attention to detail.

Our Price Per Square Foot Is Fair And Square

You will find our estimate to be surprisingly competitive. We can keep our prices competitive because we have strategic partnerships and strong relationships with manufacturers and distributors of quality roofing materials.
In the spirit of total transparency, we would like to point out that the only way our estimate will change is based on replacing something that cannot be foreseen until we tear off the shingles – such as rotting wood.
While every roofer will have this caveat in their contracts, it’s how it is written that is very important. We don’t charge you hourly. We don’t charge you for all the guys on the roof. We simply charge you per the pieces of rotting wood we had to replace.

Act Now And Get $0 Off

No, that’s not a typo. But now that we’ve piqued your curiosity, let us explain. We don’t inflate our margins just to be able to offer you “a deal.” To us, that just reeks of dishonesty right up front. Where’s the integrity in that?
We have seen roofing contracts on roof replacement that are $10,000, but in the fine print you’ll see things like “plus $55 an hour per person per hour,” and “plus materials outside of scope.” And next thing you know that $10,000 estimate is now $18,000 by the time you’re done.

The Roofer Who Cuts Corners Is Certainly
Not In Your Corner

Cutting corners saves them money, but costs you big time. We see it all the time. For instance, misplaced alignment caused by warping in the plywood caused by not replacing rotting wood. The lines of shingles should be perfectly straight, perpendicular and parallel to the hips, valleys and beams. You will find perfectly straight lines on the roofs we install – because we’re straight shooters when it comes to doing the job right.

When Your Roofer Uses Inferior Nails,
You’re The One Who Gets Hammered

Another way some roofing contractors cut corners is to use cheaper, inferior-quality nails. The only nails we use are oil-dipped galvanized nails that don’t rust or corrode and create an airtight seam as they are installed. Using low-quality nails results in rusting, warping and melting.

Buckles And Bows Make Pretty Giftwrapping,
But Not A Pretty Roof

Some roofing contractors will also cut corners to save a couple hundred bucks by nailing a new sheet of plywood over rotting wood. When their shingles don’t lay flat, you’ll start to see bows and buckles. It’s not pretty. We insist on doing it the right way – rotted decking or boards all get replaced. And while we’re at it, we go about replacing all the vents, pipe collars and flashing.

We Can’t Overemphasize The Importance Of
Using Better Underlayment.

The underlayment is a crucial part of a roofing system. It is the biggest barrier between the shingles and the wood, which ultimately protects your home the most. Whenever you see synthetic underlayment written on the contract, 9 out of 10 times you’re going to get felt underlayment, not the superior “peel and stick” underlayment, a waterproof rubberized barrier that bonds with the wood to create a complete water barrier. We only install peel and stick. It’s the right way to get the job done.

A Business-Savvy Endorsement

Our business has been endorsed by none other than Kevin Harrington, an original “shark” from the TV show “Shark Tank”. He has endorsed Maxx Roof Tampa as the #1 roofing company in the Tampa area. We couldn’t be prouder.”

We Top It All Off With
Higher-quality Roofing Materials

We only use what we consider to be the Cadillac of roofing materials: GAM underlayment, starter shingles, architectural shingles, exhaust vents and ridge caps. The quality is backed by a 50-year warranty.

A lot of roofing contractors will install lower-quality shingles. We exclusively only install architectural shingles that are stain and algae resistant and make for a beautiful roof. Instead of offering good, better and best options, we only offer better and best – because that’s what our customers deserve.

Buyer Beware Vs. Being An Aware Buyer

If you’re going to google roofers, also google this: roofing class action lawsuits. There’s been hundreds of millions of dollars paid out over the last decades for inferior materials, manufacturer defects, false warranty claims and unethical claim practices.
There’s a laundry list of reasons to avoid certain brands of roofing materials. And there’s a reason that roofers will not write a particular brand in the contract – so you don’t know what you’re getting. And same thing with their verbiage such as “synthetic underlayment” and “new fasteners.” All of this is left up to interpretation and gives them the option to pick the cheapest materials so they can make the most money.

Our Integrity And Experience Is Evident On Every Roof

We’ve been in business long enough to know the Florida Roofing Industry inside and out. In addition to having highly experienced roofing professionals, we have carpenters on staff so we can do structural repairs. We’re actually part of the Disaster Relief Rapid Response Team for the state of Florida.

Our Umbrella Insurance Policy Is Another Way To Say Peace Of Mind

Our umbrella policy covers your property and the property around you. It covers if someone gets injured on your property or damage is caused to a neighbor’s property. Without the right umbrella policy, you could end up getting soaked.

We Clean Up Nicely

Our work isn’t done when the roof is done. We sweep your entire property, make sure we clean up all the debris and that it all gets hauled away. We want to leave your home in better condition than how we found it. The only thing we make sure we leave you with is a beautiful, high-quality roof and a feeling of complete satisfaction.
